Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and an encrypted (hashed) password.
• Identity verification (KYC) for clippers: legal name, country, address, the type of ID, and only the last 4 characters of the ID number. We do not store ID documents or full ID numbers.
• Payout details: the UPI ID, bank, PayPal, USDT or wire details you enter when you withdraw.
• Social accounts and clips: the handles you register, the links of clips you submit, and public view, like and comment counts and the posting account for those clips.
• Campaign and payment records: campaigns you create, budgets, payment confirmations (we do not see or store your full card number), wallet entries and payouts.
• Technical data: basic server logs (such as IP address and browser type) and a login session cookie.

2. How we use it

• To create and secure your account, and to run campaigns, submissions, wallet and payouts.
• To verify that clips are posted from your own accounts and to detect fake views and fraud.
• To meet legal, tax and payment-provider requirements, and to prevent money laundering and abuse.
• To contact you about your account, payments and important changes.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run Clipxhub, and only what they need:

• Razorpay (and other payment partners) to take creator payments and, where used, to send payouts.
• Hosting and database providers (Hostinger and Neon) that store the service and its data.
• YouTube Data API and Apify to read public view counts and the posting account of clips. These tools receive public clip links, not your personal details.
• Authorities or professional advisers when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

A creator can see the name of clippers who submit clips to their campaign and the public details of those clips. Clippers see the creator's name and campaign details.

4. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy.

5. How long we keep data

We keep account, wallet and payout records for as long as your account is active and afterwards for the period needed for tax, accounting and dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete your account; records we must keep by law will be kept and then deleted.

6. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, connections use HTTPS, access to admin tools is restricted and sensitive actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us quickly if you notice anything suspicious.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• show you the personal information we hold about you,
• correct information that is wrong,
• delete your account and personal information (subject to legal record-keeping), or
• stop sending you non-essential emails.

8. Children

Clipxhub is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For significant changes we will also notify you in the product or by email.
